Dez anos depois de se aventurar como um artista solo, Melanie C se apresenta ao vivo em frente de uma platéia intimista no The Hard Rock Cafe, em Manchester, Inglaterra. Fãs de todo o mundo não foram só para ver Melanie, mas também para ajudar a arrecadar dinheiro para fundação anual do Hard Rock, Pinktober. Já grávida de cinco meses, ela executa uma seleção de seus maiores sucessos juntamente com algumas músicas pessoalmente favoritas durante set de 75 minutos. Filmado com apenas três câmeras de vídeo, este DVD capta a intensidade bruta deste evento acústico muito especial.

Todos os lucros deste DVD foram para a fundação Caron Keating. Inicialmente, apenas 1000 unidades deveriam ser feitas, mas depois de vender todas antes da data de lançamento, foram feitas mais 1750 cópias, que esgotaram também. Como este DVD só estava disponível online, ele se transformou em um verdadeiro item de colecionador depois de seu lançamento.

The Sea - Live Tour 2011-2012

Após alguns anos, Melanie finalmente voltou em turnê para promover seu novo álbum The Sea. Em novembro e dezembro de 2011, Melanie apresentou o álbum ao lado de seus maiores sucessos em oito concertos em Londres, Liverpool, Hamburgo, Berlim, Colônia, Munique, Viena e Zurique!

No dia 17 de novembro, Melanie C anunciou os artistas de apoio da sua turnê. Na região ASA a cantora SCHMIDT foi o apoio e no Reino Unido seria a girlband Parade, mas o grupo teve que cancelar sua participação por motivos maiores. No show de Liverpool, James Walsh, ex-Starsailor, foi escalado para abrir o show. James e Melanie trabalharam juntos na faixa One By One, faixa do álbum The Sea. No show de Londres (09/12/2011), o cantor inglês Ben Montague foi o apoio. Ainda em Londres, Melanie C dividiu o palco com Brian May, onde cantaram a faixa One Vision.

Já em Munique, David Pefeffer, o vencedor do X Factor alemão de 2011, foi o apoio da cantora e participou eu seu próprio single, I'm Here, e na faixa First Day of My Life, como fizeram na final do programa.

No dia 21 de fevereiro de 2012, Melanie C anunciou que a turnê The Sea Live 2011 será lançada em DVD. Esta edição limitada apresenta 17 fantásticas faixas ao vivo, filmado em shows de Melanie em Colónia, Hamburgo e Berlim no final de 2011. Paralelamente a estas faixas ao vivo, o DVD também contém uma música nova e inédita chamada Too Soon.

Este DVD só estará disponível no estande da mercadoria da próxima turnê de Melanie no Reino Unido & Irlanda e através da loja online da cantora, com envios a partir do dia 27 de fevereiro.
